TYPES OF RIGHTS AVAILABLE

Micro Stock (MS)
Micro Stock products may be used for only personal use. When you order a Micro Stock product, you are agreeing to not use the photo for reproduction to be resold, publishing, public viewing or promotion. Pricing of Micro Stock products is based solely on this useage. Licenses for Micro Stock products are always non-exclusive. All licenses of Micro Stock products are subject to Asian Stock Editorial, Rights-Managed and Royalty Free Image License Agreement. To read the Micro Stock Licensing agreement please click here.

Royalty-Free (RF)
Royalty-free products may be used by the licensee multiple times for multiple projects without incurring additional fees. Royalty-free pricing is based solely on the file size of the product the licensee needs and the number of people entitled to use it (maximum 2), not the specific use. You don't have to pay any additional royalties on a use-by-use basis. However, as with all Asian Stock licenses, the rights granted are non-transferable and are personal to the licensee. This means that if an RF product is used in a derivative work by the licensee for another person, the other person may not use the licensed product separately from the derivative work. Royalty-free licenses are always non-exclusive. All licenses of royalty-free products are subject to Asian Stock Royalty-Free Image licensing. Rights-Managed (RM)
Rights-managed products are licensed on a use-by-use basis. The fee for using the product is calculated from several factors including size, placement, duration of use and geographic distribution. At the time you order an RM product, you will be asked to submit information that will specify the usage rights to be granted. You can use our price calculator or contact a sales representative to determine an exact price. Exclusive rights are available for purchase for some rights-managed products. Editorial Use
Editorial rights are licensed on a use-by-use basis. Use in an "editorial" manner means use relating to events that are newsworthy or of public interest. If you wish to use an image or film from our editorial collection for a non-editorial use, you must contact a sales representative to assist you.
